- Oregon City: In miles, about how long was the Oregon Trail?
- Power: Determine what animals were needed to pull the prairie wagons.
- Provisions for the Trail: Predict what the main provisions were needed and taken on the journey west along the Oregon Trail. AND – list two expenses that settlers may face WHILE ON THE JOURNEY.
- If You Traveled West in a Covered Wagon: How many months did it take settlers to complete the Oregon Trail Journey? Why did it take this long?
- Prairie Schooners: Describe the method(s) of travel used by the settlers on their journey along the Oregon Trail.
- Historical Sites: Write the name of THREE sites and give a description of each in YOUR OWN WORDS!
- Historical Facts of the Oregon Trail and America’s Manifest Destiny: What are some major differences and similarities between the Oregon Trail and the Mormon Trail? (AT LEAST TWO)
- Hardships: Conclude what some of the main causes were of death were on the journeys west along the Oregon Trail.
- Fantastic Facts: Choose one topic from ‘Fantastic Facts’ table of contents and write about the information you find in each site. One of the stranger ones is called Weird Wagons; you might want to check it out. – ANSWER THIS ON A SEPARATE SHEET OF PAPER AND STAPLE TOGETHER!!!!
